Toll Group Acquires Australian Drone Operator, Air Support Queensland

Toll Group announced the acquisition of Air Support Queensland Pty Ltd (ASQ), a leading Australian uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) flight operations and training provider.

ASQ has an extensive fleet of sophisticated uncrewed aircraft systems and runs drone operations and training services in Australia in the civil, commercial, government, defence and agricultural markets. This strengthens Toll’s capabilities and expands the company’s know-how with proven new technologies.

Together with its existing aviation business, Toll will deliver integrated operations and training in support of military, aeromedical, search and rescue, airborne law enforcement, resource sector and utility aviation operations. Not only will incorporating drone technology into their search & rescue allow Toll to oversee high level operations, it will also offer opportunities in other parts of their business, such as warehousing and delivery services.
