Staying safe and dry at Camden Airport thanks to major upgrades
Aeria Management Group (AMG) has celebrated the successful completion in May 2024 of its major car park and stormwater upgrades at Camden Airport.
The works have delivered a safer and more efficient precinct for all airport users, as part of AMG’s ongoing investments in general aviation.
AMG thanked its customers and other airport users for working with it to improve safety, accessibility and amenity.
The works were staged to minimse disruptions and took place from late 2023 to May 2024. The project included an upgrade of the stormwater system to improve water drainage and the resilience of airport operations, infrastructure and facilities against floods.
The works also included:
- Reconstruction and resurfacing of the airport car park
- An upgrade of the car park access road
- Upgrades to aprons, hardstand and hangar access
- Widening of the taxiway to improve safety for turning aircraft.
The efficient delivery of works enabled the early reopening of Taxiway Delta, in February 2024, and reopening of Taxiway Charlie, in March, despite the challenges of recent poor weather.
AMG thanked members of the Camden Airport aviation community for their cooperation and patience during the works.
AMG also thanked its works partners Civilcraft and RP Infrastructure.
