Bankstown Airport Terminal face lift in the New Year

The refurbishment of the Bankstown Airport Terminal will commence in January. The terminal will be closed during these works, however temporary amenities will be available And there will be alternative airside access arrangements at the terminal gate. The improvements will feature new furnishings with a dedicated lounge, tea station, viewing areas, as well as improved Wi-Fi and digital connectivity. SMA CEO Daniel Jarosch said the upgraded terminal was a significant investment in our aviation amenities and a bellweather for further investment in the airport, “Aviation is at the heart of our offering, and we will continue to upgrade our assets to provide the best experience for our customers and visitors.” Daniel said. The terminal is anticipated to return to normal operations in March – and subject to COVID-19 Safety Management Plans.
